About Me
Julia DeSimone (she/her) , is a New York-based actress, singer, and mover, and most notably stage mom of @anniehermionedesimone. A city girl by birth and a Jersey girl at heart, Julia's journey led her to the University of Miami, where she got her BFA in Musical Theatre- Love You Go Canes! Julia is thrilled to finally have made the move back across the Hudson to do what she loves the most.
Julia found her passion for theatre at a young age when the TV version of Annie was popped into her cassette player. From the moment she heard the first notes of the overture she was hooked- and here she is years later having performed for Charles Strouse. The man whose music stole her heart all those years ago.
Julia is known for her resounding quote "Live your life. Live your truth". And truly lives her life to the fullest using those words. Whether that be exploring new places, hanging out with her best friends, forging new connections, or spear heading her cat Annie's comedy career. The best way to feel fulfilled is to "live your life. live your truth!"
